1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you request a preview, buy a website, Hosting or a care plan, or email us: business name, your name, email, phone, services, service area, and any logos or photos you send. To build demo websites for local businesses, we also use publicly available business information, such as business listings and social media pages.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to build, host and maintain your website, connect or register your domain, process payments, and communicate with you about your site and your Hosting or care plan. We also use business contact information to tell a business about a demo website we made for it. Every email we send includes a way to opt out.
3. Contact Form Messages
If your site includes a contact form, messages sent through it are forwarded to your email. We keep them for 12 months while we host your site.
4. Data Retention
We keep your site's content and files while we host your site, plus 90 days after hosting ends, so you can download them.
5. Domain Registration
When we register a domain in your name, your registrant information goes to the domain registrar and registry, as required by ICANN (the organization that manages domains).
6. Phone Calls
If we record or transcribe a phone call with you, we tell you at the start of the call. Voicemails you leave us are recorded and transcribed so we can respond.
7. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for hosting, domain registration, payment processing, email delivery, phone service, and AI tools that help us research businesses, build sites, and write emails. These vendors process data according to their own privacy policies.
